


I understand that on occasion, exfoliation does get a bad rep yet if you are blemish-prone or suffering from acne, this can be a crucial step to reducing breakouts and preventing future breakouts. Sloughing off the “shedding” outer layer of skin plus any extra impurities helps stave off some of the nutrients that p acnes (Propionibacterium acnes) bacteria need to thrive. .
