✅What is it? Pigmentation Corrector Serum, brightens and tackles specifically dark spots and hyperpigmentation issues.⠀⠀⠀
✅Price – 98$ (30ml) dropper bottle.⠀⠀
⠀
✅Texture: light serum.⠀
⠀
✅Smell: Funny (not really sure what to make of it).⠀
✅Suitable for: All skin types and tones (if you are pregnant it’s always worth checking with your GP first). Sensitive skins will need to do a patch test.⠀
⠀
✅Ingredients:⠀
⠀
3% Tranexamic Acid: minimizes the recurrence of discolouration and stubborn brown patches with continued use⠀
⠀ ⠀
1% Kojic Acid: naturally produced by certain fungi, kojic acid helps improve skin brightness⠀
⠀
5% Niacinamide (Vitamin B3): a water-soluble vitamin that has been shown to help reduce the appearance of skin discolouration⠀
5% HEPES: a synthetically-derived acid that activates natural enzymes in skin to help break the bonds that bind dead skin cells to the surface for even exfoliation
✅Results:⠀
Now I used one bottle of this (gifted to me by Lisa @myskincaremission who said it wasn’t working out for her but being the ultimate guinea pig I needed to see for myself) and unfortunately I had the same concerns. I prefer to write posts on products I have awesome results with so I can share my awesome discovery with you but unfortunately I am sorry to say I saw more results with their CE ferulic (I will not bore you with 8 different ways I tried to use this serum to make it work).⠀
⠀
I saw a little brightening with this but unfortunately not enough versus others I have in my arsenal so I decided not to continue this. However on a bonus note if you are a Skinceutical fan halfway through my second bottle I did notice a lift in impact albeit small- this is when I paired it up with another Skinceutical Product (more in my next post). ⠀
