Hydrating Masks

Masking is more than just taking care of your skin, it’s a moment of pampering, self-care, reflection and to be honest and an excuse to lie down and put my feet up.⠀ ⠀

As the #stayathome extends across countries and many of us are feeling anxious. I always tell myself “I survived this feeling before and I will survive this feeling again”.
Tips for those feeling low: Find things that cheer you up, people that make you laugh, Tik Tok videos that make you want to get up dance, movies that leave you feeling great, books that sweep you away, hobbies that keep your mind distracted, baking that reminds you how good the kitchen can smell all with a big splash of helping another making this coming weekend a great one! ⠀
(and sending the biggest hugs to all our essential workers- thinking of you as I post and every day). ⠀
Join me and@fanibreakweven in masking with us every Friday for a bit of pampering, self-love and good skin!⠀

Masks on hand today:⠀
1️⃣@Africanbotanic– Found this incredibly “leaky, sticky, messy” at first with a very strong floral scent. Since my allergic reaction, I have begun to be more cautious with scented products. I do prefer unscented skincare and anything scented means 2weeks of patch tests first. Yet, after figuring out how to use this best it really does leave the skin looking very juicy and plump. Those who enjoy comforting scents will find this mask very therapeutic. *** Includes Squalane, Maula Seed Oil, Glycerine, Macadamia Seed Oil, Baobab Seed Oil, Vitamin C and Niacinamide. ⠀
2️⃣@leahlani I cannot rave about Honey enough (yep I know you have heard it all before)*** Includes Spirulina, Chlorella, Sea Buckthorn oils and Raw Honey – to purify, soften and hydrate.⠀
3️⃣@imfrom recommends from the lovely @gothmista and I enjoyed this tremendously. ***It is such a joyous mask with Honey and Glycerin to soften and hydrate.⠀ ⠀
Happy masking and have a lovely Friday my friend’s xx⠀
